The Indian Banker is the official magazine of the Indian Banks' Association (IBA), and has been in publication for over 40 years. The magazine is digitally available on intranets of member banks for their employees. Additionally, over 4000 printed copies are distributed to top management of member banks and paid subscribers. It is a source of information for practicing bankers all over the country, both in terms of statistical information, as well as articles on subjects that are of current relevance to the banking industry. The design, content, subscriptions and advertisement sales has been totally outsourced to a professional publishing firm, Finsight Media Pvt Ltd which is well-experienced in publishing in the banking domain.

IBA was formed on the September 26, 1946. IBA members comprises of
public sector banks, private sector banks, foreign banks having offices in India, urban co-operative banks, developmental financial institutions, federations, merchant banks, mutual funds, and housing finance corporations. More information on the IBA is available at www.iba.org.in.
